Just purcahsed this product fews days ago. Amazon free shipping was extreamly fast. Came before estimated time. I was amazed at the quality of this product. Way better then it was shown in pictures. Looks really fancy and feels really sturdr. Made up of high quality steel. I would reccomend this product to any one looking to make a fashion statement.

I received this as a gift from my wife, and it’s a very nice watch for the price she paid for it. It’s large, which I like, and looks good with a lot of detail on the watch face and a great overall design. My favorite feature is the rotating bezel which I use to time everything from presentations to tracking the delivery time on a pizza order. I also like the leather band, which is substantial and adds to the overall quality look and feel of the watch. It has kept very good time: I synced it with my iPhone and it has not lost a second in the several days I since I have set it. Overall, a nice watch and a great value (assuming I had to pay for it myself).

I’ve had this watch for over two years and wear it daily. Biking, working, going out. It works for all occasions. I have received many, many compliments on the watch. I’ve changed the battery once and replaced the band once in two years time. The steel has a few noticeable scratches, but the face still looks brand new.

All and all it is a very good watch does what it is supposed to do well and it’s biggest feature is that it looks good.

There are a few annoyances I’ve had that may be important to note.

First, this watch is not very easy to see in daylight or artificial light. I would say I have to use the built in light about 80% of the time I look at the watch. the light is great and very bright but using it so much drains the battery. this is a problem because you have to take it to a jeweler to be replaced and it took them an hour to do it. not to mention you need two hands every time you look at the watch…

second, the band broke after a year and starts to stink after a few months of use while being active, running, biking etc… if you sweat the band holds the smell. the only fix is to replace the band. it’s only to buy a new band, but it’s a hassle to get the band, you have to email diesel and then they direct you to their department (at fossil) and they ship you a new band. which then leads to another trip to the jeweler to replace the band plus more $ to have the work done.

I gave it 4 stars cause it does look good, but this is more of a casual watch, not something you’d want to wear everyday if you are active. also the “tips” function is silly and useless, a novelty that wears off quick and adds to the battery depletion.

I had this watch on my Wishlist for 6 months because I wanted to see how far the price would drop before I placed my order. Last week, hubby told me to just get it because he knew I really liked its simple yet elegant design. I’m so glad I did.

The watch arrived 15 mins ago and I love every bit of it. I don’t like “girly” watches. Even though this is a men’s watch, it sits on my wrist nicely. The watch’s face is not humongous.

As with all new leather-band watches, the band is stiff but it doesn’t bother me in the least. I’m glad I bought it!

Quartz Movement
The “movement” of a watch refers to the mechanics that power the ticking of the timepiece, and this watch is powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement. It utilizes the vibrations of a tiny quartz crystal to maintain timing, which provides a fast, steady oscillation (at more than 30,000 times per second) to provide excellent accuracy.
